2. Account Registration and Security

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • One person or legal entity per account

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Safeguarding your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use
  • Complying with multi-factor authentication requirements

3. Service Plans and Billing

Individual use with basic AI capabilities and research-to-earn features

Professional

Enhanced AI models, priority support, and advanced analytics

Enterprise

Custom deployment, SLAs, and dedicated support

3.2 Billing Terms

  • Payment: Charges are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Currency: All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
  • Taxes: You are responsible for applicable taxes
  • Late Payment: Service may be suspended for accounts 30+ days overdue

3.3 Refunds and Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are provided on a pro-rated basis for annual subscriptions cancelled within 30 days. Monthly subscriptions are not refundable but remain active until the end of the billing period.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

  • AI-assisted research, analysis, and content creation
  • Enterprise automation and business intelligence
  • Educational and research purposes
  • Software development and technical documentation

4.2 Prohibited Uses

  • Attempting to reverse engineer or copy our AI models
  • Excessive automated requests that impact service performance
  • Sharing account credentials or circumventing usage limits

5. Intellectual Property and Data Ownership

5.1 Your Data Ownership

You retain complete ownership of all data you input and all AI-generated content.

Our zero-knowledge architecture ensures we cannot access your data even if we wanted to. You maintain full intellectual property rights to all AI outputs created using your inputs.

5.2 Platform Intellectual Property

  • Nuru AI Platform: Our proprietary technology, including AI models and heritage-tech algorithms
  • Heritage Elements: Cuneiform symbols and cultural references used respectfully under academic fair use
  • Trademarks: "Nuru AI," "Heritage-Tech," and associated branding elements

6. Service Level Agreements

6.1 Availability Commitments

Professional & Personal

  • 99.5% uptime commitment
  • Best-effort support response
  • 48-hour issue resolution

Enterprise

  • 99.9% uptime guarantee
  • Priority technical support
  • 4-hour critical issue response

6.2 Service Credits

If we fail to meet uptime commitments, you may be eligible for service credits. Credits equal 10% of monthly fees for each full day of downtime beyond SLA thresholds.

7. Privacy and Security

7.1 Privacy Commitment

Your privacy is protected by our comprehensive Privacy Policy. We implement zero-knowledge architecture and mathematical privacy guarantees.

7.2 Security Responsibilities

Nuru AI Provides:

  • Platform security and encryption
  • Regular security audits
  • SOC 2 Type II compliance
  • Threat monitoring and response

You Are Responsible For:

  • Account security and access control
  • Data backup and recovery
  • Compliance with your industry regulations
  • Appropriate use of AI outputs

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NURU AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Nuru AI harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

  • You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings
  • Data export tools are available for 30 days after termination
  • Unused prepaid fees are refunded on a pro-rated basis

10.2 Termination by Us

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • 30 days written notice for termination without cause
  • Immediate termination for material breaches or illegal activity

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication. For formal disputes, we prefer binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association, though you retain the right to pursue claims in small claims court.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
